Step 1
Go to “Settings” and select “Network”.
Step 2
Under “Wi-Fi” choose the network you are connected to and select “Advanced Options”.
Step 3
Select “IP Settings” > “Static”
Step 4
Now you need to enter the first three groups of numbers exactly the same as the IP address of your router.
As an example, if your router IP is 192.168.1.1, then use the IP address 192.168.1.100 or something to that nature. The important part is to change the last digit so you get an IP from the same IP range as the router
Step 5
Enter your Gateway. For example, if your IP address was 192.168.1.xx (or 192.168.0.xx), then your Gateway will be 192.168.1.1 (or 192.168.0.1).
Step 6
Input 24 for the Network Prefix Length and click Next.
Step 7
Enter the IP addresses of our Smart DNS servers (you will find them under the Control Panel on our website) in the Primary and Secondary DNS server fields respectively.
Step 8
Once you have done, press Next and restart your Nexus Player.
You’re done! Here you will find what sites and media channels are unlocked via SmartDNS.
